Hold the Booze With Ashton: Banana Nut Bread Milkshake
Banana Nut Bread Milkshake

It’s time for another, Hold The Booze With Ashton. We received a lot of great feedback from our first one, so we will definitely keep bringing you more from Ashton. If you missed our first post, check it out HERE. Now we’ll leave the rest of the post to Ashton.

Ingredients

Ok, so my wife isn’t a fan of this one, but she’s weird with certain things. Like this one time we went to Dairy Queen, she got a pumpkin pie blizzard, took one bite and, “hated it,” because it, “tasted just like pumpkin pie.” This made no sense to me at the time, (and frankly, still doesn’t make sense to me) but this is the same exact reason why she doesn’t like this milkshake; it tastes EXACTLY like banana nut bread.

Banana Nut Bread Milkshake Recipe

For this one you will need:
1 1/2 bananas
Butter pecan ice cream Brown sugar
Butter
Milk

RECIPE:

1. Start by putting just a dab of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once melted, toss in 1 sliced banana and a handful of brown sugar.

2. Cook until the banana is lightly browned and soft.

3. Remove from skillet and let cool completely, (if you don’t you will have a runny milkshake, and nobody wants that).

4. Add 5 big scoops of butter pecan ice cream, the caramelized bananas, half of an uncooked banana and just a touch of milk to a blender.

5. Blend until smooth, garnish with a banana, and enjoy!
