Date Night at Pinecrest

Date Night at Pinecrest
Candle making at the Candle Studio

One of our favorite places in the Cleveland area to visit is Pinecrest. Located about 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland, Pinecrest is Cleveland’s newest mixed-use district where you can shop, play, stay, work and live. We do break our “no traveling to the East side” rule quite often to go here because we just always have a great time. In fact, for this post we’re going to show you our perfect date night (or date day) at Pinecrest.

The tastiest donuts

About Pinecrest
They have a collection of some of the best national stores such as West Elm, Williams Sonoma and Warby Parker. You can treat yourself to salon or spa services at Zen Nail Spa, Woodhouse Day Spa or j. bellezza. Break a sweat at Citizen Yoga, Orange Theory Fitness or Club Pilates Pinecrest. Catch a film at Silverspot Cinema where you can enjoy fine food and beverages with a full dine-in service menu. Satisfy your hunger cravings at one of the many tasty restaurants such as Condado Tacos, Bibibop Asian Grille or Next Door Eatery. If we didn’t make it evident enough, there is something for EVERYONE at Pinecrest!

Duck Donuts

Duck Donuts
We got to Pinecrest around 10:00 am and arrived hungry and craving something sweet. We started our day at Duck Donuts where you can order warm, delicious, made-to-order donuts. We were almost overwhelmed with all the combinations you could choose! Beard chose a simple glazed donut and Broad chose a powdered sugar donut with oreo crumble and hot fudge drizzle. The donuts were fresh, tasty, warm and were the perfect way to start our day.

Homage
We made our way to our favorite retro and vintage store, Homage, to buy some Cleveland and pop culture swag. It was our lucky day because EVERYTHING in the store was 30% off! They always have the best sale online or in the store. Beard purchase a Cleveland Indians shirt and Broad purchased an Office t-shirt that had one of her favorite Michael Scott quotes on it.

Candle Studio
If you know anything about Broad, you know she’s obsessed with candles. The only thing better than buying candles is making one of your own, so we went to the Candle Studio to do just that! We started by browsing their fragrance wall which had over 85 fragrances to choose from. Our Scent Stylist helped us narrow down our favorites that would blend perfectly together. Broad’s mix was mahogany, patchouli and old books. Beard chose yuzu, lemongrass and green tea. We poured and mixed our oils and created our custom labels. They needed an hour and a half to settle and form so we continued perusing around Pinecrest for a bit.

West Elm
We are constantly updating our home and decorating it. Broad’s absolute favorite home store is West Elm. She’s mostly had to shop West Elm online but she’s super excited it’s open at Pinecrest so now we can shop in person. We’re working on redecorating the living room so we popped in to get some decorating inspiration and we’re absolutely loving everything they have out right now.

3 Palms Pizzeria
By this time, we worked up an appetite and were ready for lunch! We went to 3 Palms Pizzeria and since it was our first time, we tried a little bit of everything. We ordered the meat and cheese board, traditional meatball with marinara, crispy fried artichokes and caprese salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious, we will be back for sure to try their pizzas.

Restore Immunity Juice

Restore Cold Pressed Juice
Finally before heading home we popped into Restore Cold Pressed Juice to pick up some juice and bone broth to refresh for the drive home. We love Restore. Their raw, cold-pressed juices and smoothies are so refreshing and made from the highest quality ingredients. We chose the immunity juice because we both feel the start of a cold coming on and need the extra defense right now.

We had such a fun day date at Pinecrest! In addition to what we did, here are some other activities we think would be fun for you and your significant other:

  • Last time I was there, I was so excited to get to Duck Donuts – & realized it had closed earlier than I thought, while I was shopping. Noooo! I’ll just have to go back, I guess. 😛
