Bite Creole Kitchen

Bite Creole Kitchen

You already know we will travel for delicious food. We now actually get excited to travel to the formerly dreaded East Side when we know we’ll be trying a new restaurant. We recently headed out to South Euclid to try a new place, Bite Creole Kitchen and it did not disappoint. We wanted to share with you what we tried and why you need to head there!

Bite Creole Kitchen puts a modern twist on southern, New Orleans style dishes. They provide a “modern hip atmosphere with flavorful foods.” They are known for a 10 inch Po boys, Loaded Frits, and everything has a New Orleans style kick. The restaurant is on the tiny side, so do not shy away from getting take out, it will still be amazing when you take it home.

The B.I.T.E. Shrimp Loaded Frites

The B.I.T.E. Shrimp Loaded Frites are the perfect starter to split with someone. The fries are smothered with a 5 blend cheese sauce and topped with deep fried shrimp. They were warm, gooey and full of spice and flavor. In addition to the shrimp loaded frites, they also have the Creole Chicken Frites and Fab B.I.T.E. Frites.

Wet Creole Wings

The Wing Packs are always “fried hard” and served with red beans and rice an cornbread.  We tried the Wet Creole Wings which were covered in the signature Bite Creole Blend. They were spicy but not too hot and we devoured them. When we go back we definitely want to try the creole garlic joints.

Red Beans & Rice + Cornbread

The Red Beans & Rice were the perfect side to accompany our meal. This is something we always want and talk about making and never do because we can never perfect it as good as Southern style restaurants. The cornbread has also tasty. It was flaky and the perfect size.

Catfish Poboy

The real star of the show was the Catfish Poboy. It was huge, delicious and hit the spot (we coincidentally had been craving catfish that past few weeks). The poboys come with standard creole slaw, Bite remo, and are served on the tastiest french bread. The next time we stop in, we’re probably going to have to get this one again and we also want to try the perch one!

Thank you so much to the owners Aisha and Darcy for inviting us to Bite to experience an amazing southern style home cooked meal that definitely had a modern twist to it! We can will be back in to try some other tasty menu items and we think that you should all head out to South Euclid for a meal you won’t forget!

***Disclosure: We were invited by Bite Creole Kitchen to visit the restaurant and were given a complimentary meal. As always, all opinions are 100% our own***
